Great Weather At Blanco

News Flash!  We are officially landlocked at Blanco.  Between great rains and melting snow on the Winterberg, our dams are “flooding” and our little “stream” at the approach to Blanco is as wide as the Breede River!  No Kidding!! 

Chris attempted a closer look to see if the bridge approach had washed away and he and his trusty tractor nearly took a swim.

At this point, would it be common sense or should I mention that our phones too are out of order.

Blanco guests know how to keep warm

Blanco would like to appeal to everyone to help Eskom out this year with coping with energy demands and find alternative ways of keeping warm. We suggest two tots of OBS or red wine as a start. If it's too early for that a tot of whisky in your morning oats is a great way to warm the belly and get you inspired for the day!

Hi guys remember this week to try not to sweat the small stuff. Each day try and relax about one thing that you are pedantic about, something that consumes your time and energy, and makes you stressed but is not critical for your survival or happiness! I believe the adage is don’t sweat the petty stuff and don’t pet the sweaty stuff!
